The Mardome Circular Polycarbonate Dome Rooflight is a fixed, non-opening Polycarbonate rooflight designed to deliver high levels of natural daylight to flat and low-pitch roofs up to 15°. Its circular dome profile provides even light distribution while promoting efficient rainwater runoff, making it suitable for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings where reliable daylighting is required without the need for ventilation or access.
Manufactured from high-impact, UV-stabilised polycarbonate, the Mardome Circular Polycarbonate Rooflight offers excellent durability, weather resistance, and long-term performance. The robust yet lightweight construction allows for straightforward installation while maintaining strength and resistance to impact and environmental exposure. The rooflight is suitable for both new-build and refurbishment projects and can be installed onto a prepared builder’s upstand or specified with a factory-manufactured kerb.
Mardome Circular Polycarbonate Rooflight Diameter Options
The rooflight is available in a wide range of standard circular diameters to suit different roof layouts, structural openings, and daylighting requirements.
Standard diameter options (mm) include:
600, 750, 900, 1050, 1200, 1350, 1500, 1800
This range allows the rooflight to be used in small service areas through to large open-plan spaces requiring high daylight levels.
Glazing Options
Multiple glazing configurations are available to suit different thermal performance requirements and building uses.
Single skin polycarbonate – Used in unheated or lightly used spaces where maximum daylight transmission is required and thermal performance is not critical.
Double skin polycarbonate – Used in lightly to moderately heated buildings where improved insulation is required while maintaining good light transmission.
Triple skin polycarbonate – Used where improved thermal performance and reduced heat loss are required, such as offices, schools, and residential buildings.
Tint Options
Tint options allow control of daylight levels, glare, and privacy within the internal space.
Clear polycarbonate – Used where maximum light transmission is required, such as warehouses, stairwells, and circulation areas.
Opal finish – Used to diffuse daylight and reduce glare, creating a more comfortable internal environment in regularly occupied spaces.
Patterned finish – Used where diffused light and increased privacy are required, particularly in residential or overlooked locations.
Shape Options
The rooflight is supplied in a circular low-rise dome configuration.
Low-rise circular dome – Used for flat and low-pitch roofs where efficient drainage, durability, and a simple, cost-effective daylighting solution are required.
Kerb Options
Kerb configurations are available to suit different roof constructions and installation requirements.
Installation onto a builder’s upstand – Used where a suitable upstand is already formed as part of the roof structure, commonly in refurbishment projects.
GRP insulated kerb – Used where a factory-manufactured kerb is required to provide consistent insulation, weather resistance, and installation height.
Opening Options
The Mardome Circular Polycarbonate Rooflight is supplied as a fixed, non-opening unit.
Fixed (non-opening) – Used where the rooflight is required solely for daylighting, offering maximum weather tightness, simplicity, and thermal performance.
