The Brett Martin Roof Lantern is designed not only to look better but also to perform better. Safety is prioritised as lanterns are supplied only with laminated inner panes for enhanced protection from falling glass in the event of accidental breakage. The slimline profiles work with thermally efficient double-glazed units, and this, together with a simplified installation process, delivers a low-maintenance, weathertight solution.

Choice of clear self-clean or blue solar-control self-clean glass as standard.

Four panes of glass are standard for a contemporary look, with the option of 6 panes for a more classic aesthetic.
Aluminium frame powder coated to RAL 7016 grey externally and RAL 9010 white internally, or RAL 7016 both externally and internally.
Designed for simple mounting direct to a weathered builder’s upstand.

Installation

The Glass Roof Lantern is engineered for simple and secure installation on flat or low-pitch roofs. It is designed to be mounted directly onto a fully weathered and insulated builder’s upstand with no requirement for internal support framing.

Installation Guidelines:

Suitable for upstand pitches from 0° to 5° (note: pitches over 0° may create a “lopsided” appearance).
Minimum upstand height: 85 mm.
Detailed installation and maintenance guides available upon request.
Thermal fracture caution: Avoid placing blinds directly beneath the glazing, and choose light-coloured blinds positioned away from the glass to reduce risk of thermal stress fracture.

Glass and frame arrive together on an A-frame
Driver can assist with unloading if required
Sacrificial foam runners protect the glass during unloading
The A-frame is removed by the driver after delivery

Important: Please ensure someone is available on the day of delivery to help unload the roof lantern from the lorry.
