Enhance U values to meet Building Regulations
ROOFLIGHT INSULATION SYSTEM |
| Cleartherm
is a completely new rooflight insulation system developed
to meet the tighter requirements of the revised Building Regulation
and is providing a range of thermal layer options for both site and
factory assembled Trilite rooflights.
- Cleartherm has a Trilite GRP weather
sheet, a structured polycarbonate middle layer and a Trilite GRP
base sheet.
- Cleartherm allows rooflight constructions
to achieve a range of U values from 2.0 - 1.0m2K by incorporating
differing structural configurations within the units.
- Using Cleartherm gives minimal reduction
in light transmission due to the 'glass clear' clarity of the polycarbonate
used.
- Its use ensures better thermal performance over standard triple
skin rooflights due to Cleartherm's own inherently
higher U value.
- Cleartherm used as part of any Trilite
site or factory assembled multi-skin construction will achieve the
following thermal performance:
Cleartherm 2.0 |
2.0m2K. |
Cleartherm 1.8 |
1.8m2K. |
Cleartherm 1.6 |
1.6m2K. |
Cleartherm 1.4 |

Site Assembled Rooflights -
Are easily installed into traditional double skin site assembled
rooflight constructions by lying directly on top of the liner profile
without fixings.
- Eliminate the need for additional spacer systems or fillers due
to Cleartherm's own internal structure creating the insulating
air gap.
- Come in sheets sizes up to 6m, pre-cut to customers requirements.
- Are delivered palletised for protection and ease of on-site handling.
- Provide greater inherent U value, giving a margin of error for
as built installation details, so increasing the likelihood of actual
thermal performance. |
