ECOpac has been introduced in response to customer requests for greener packaging that is easy to dispose of in comparison to the timber and nails used in our traditional FAIRs packaging. Together with the need to provide environmental products that can easily be recycled, ECOpac delivers a strong, robust and sustainable solution.

The introduction of ECOpac TM has been very successful: it resolves these concerns whilst providing improved protection for the rooflights during site storage and handling.

ECOpac TM comprises a honeycomb card base, with pallet bearers and corner protectors, all bound together with shrink film. This is not just pallet wrap for weather protection, it is a durable film which holds the FAIRs together under tension to create a single resilient pack.

The ECOpac TM film not only provides excellent protection from weather and dirt on site, but is essential to the integrity of the pallet: please note that it must not be removed until all handling of the pallet is completed, and the pallet is ready to be unloaded. Once packaging has been removed, it should not be handled mechanically – each FAIR should be unloaded and handled manually from then onwards (long FAIRs should be carried vertically rather than horizontally).
