Shed Show 2008

Sheds 2008 was a perfect occasion to debut Cleartherm 2, our 10mm quadruple-wall polycarbonate sheet with an improved U-value of 1.3W/m2 K, and also Supaseal, the latest member to the filler family.

In addition to Cleartherm2 and Supaseal, we also showcased our range of Energysaver and vaulted rooflights.

It was a huge success to showcase our range of product development and a great opportunity to introduce the benefits of daylight to new clients and catching up with familiar faces within the retail industry.

EnergySaver

energysaver

Energysaver FAIRs are triple skin rooflights that have been designed with a transparent internal insulating membrane to partition the space within the rooflight and create an additional heat barrier, providing outstanding insulation for minimal extra cost.

Vaults

multivault

Vault rooflights are easily incorporated in new or refurbished roofs. The range includes modular length double and triple skin vault rooflights and a versatile vault rooflight system capable of spanning between 1 and 9 metres. Specifiers can conform to recommendations on the requirement for daylight by installing vault rooflights. The versatile nature of the rooflights means the desired amount of daylight is easily achieved without compromise to the building’s safety, design and character. Vault rooflights can be supplied to any length and are designed to specific project requirements.

Supaseal

Supaseal

Brett Martin Daylight Systems has extended its range of rooflight fillers and sealants with the launch of a new filler that showed outstanding performance in a series of crucial tests. Supaseal combines some of the best features of Brett Martin’s other fillers, being based on standard polyethylene and being the same weight but having the feel of EPDM.

Supaseal scored its best result in the thermal ageing test in which it performed up to six times better than the other test fillers.

Cleartherm 2

cleartherm2

Cleartherm2, the transparent internal insulating material used in the Brett Martin Daylight Systems’ portfolio, has been improved with some blue sky thinking - but no extra cost - to smash the 2.2W/m²K U-value required to comply with Parts L2A and L2B of the Building Regulations, and make the product one of the most insulated in the industry.
